Alexander Zuccaro

Actor based in New York City
As of May 1, 2025, Zuccaro is in rehearsals for William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, in the role of Octavius. He is working with Hudson Classical Theatre Company, his first time with them, and this is also Zuccaro's first Shakespeare role. A thrilling personal and professional achievement. In November 2024, Zuccaro played the villainous George Wickham in the staged reading of The Wickham's Christmas at Pemberley, produced by Break a Leg Productions. This opportunity came shortly after playing another villainous role of Johnny in Tristian Reginato's short film, What Price New York.

Immediately following the success of Spit&Vigor's MAROONED! series, Zuccaro took on the challenging but rewarding role of Hippolytus in Seneca's Phaedra. This presentation ran for one week at American Theatre for Actors and was directed by John DeBenedetto of BlackBox SandBox. A climactic clip can be seen below.

Alexander can also be seen in the starring role of The Loner in the music video for "Kiss Me" by Father John Misty, which can be watched below.
Vogue photographer Elys Berroteran invited Alexander to be a principal model for a sensual editorial: “Our Way” was featured in Marcel Schlutt’s Berlin based Kaltblut Magazine in July 2021 and found its way internationally through the magazine’s online reach.

Alexander has appeared on prominent primetime shows for the CBS Network: The Good Fight, Madame Secretary, and NCIS New Orleans, as well as HBO’s The Deuce. His background roles in both Hollywood and Independent films include Billy Eichner and Judd Apatows’ Bros (Universal Pictures), Mon Héroine (Octopolis Productions, France), and Zootopia (Whiskey Creek). NYU and Pratt Graduate films have given him bold roles, both leading and supporting, and he took on an extreme character role in Tadeusz Von Moltke’s Jean Genet inspired director's reel, Close Surveillance. Often sought after for commercials, his work includes a trendy anti-smoking internet PSA, an MLB ad, and a zany promotion for Netflix’s Don’t Look Up.

Zuccaro has a BFA in Filmmaking from Montclair State University which gave him a strong background in film production and screenwriting.  When Zuccaro is not auditioning or rehearsing, he focuses on his own independent theatrical study. He is a member of Actor's Equity Association and intends to join SAG as soon as he is eligible. He is simultaneously seeking representation.

When Alexander is not working he enjoys practicing Hatha and Kundalini yoga.

"Alexander Zuccaro excelled as the surly, passive-aggressive tourist, his characterization nicely detailing a handsome, obnoxious, geek whose shirt is too tailored and whose designer eyewear signals dollars spent" Full review is here
"Swarthy Mediterranean good looks and a brooding stage presence distinguished Alexander Zuccaro as The Second Man, while his firmly-grounded and finely detailed characterization provided a solid, reality-based, counterpoint to the high-flung and exaggerated antics surrounding him. Zuccaro’s breakout moment was his ironic disco dance parody, a high point of the evening’s entertainment".  The full review can be read here
